WOTD: 5K Race Predictor

This is a great workout to help you prepare for your next 5K race.

Workout 6 x 800m

Recovery: This requires some knowledge of your predicted or previous 5K time.

The recovery is your average 1K pace from a 5K race rounded up to the nearest whole number.  So, if you run a 17:30 for a 5K race, or an average pace of 3:30min/k , than you must leave every 4′.  If you run a 20:50 total 5K (average pace of 4:10min/k) you must leave every 5′.
